Dear Lifesong Family,
We pray that you’d all know the Lord’s peace and presence as our nation and the world responds to the current circumstances that we are experiencing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Do know that our leadership team continues to prayerfully take into account all the data that is presented as we look to lead and shepherd our church family through these trying times.
In light of recent recommendations issued by governing authorities, our own conversations with our own resident medical doctors, seeking the Lord and sourced in a desire to care for the members of our church both spiritually and physically we would like to inform you of our most current plans.
Current plan (for the rest of March 2020)
We will not be gathering in the sanctuary this Sunday, due to the government order of limiting gatherings to 10 people.
You can join us online at 10:30 am on Sundays on our LifesongCC TV Youtube channel for our Lifesong Worship Service. (The audio sermon recording as always has been the case will be available as well).
We are looking to find some way to introduce some kind of option so that we can still experience “community” albeit in a virtual way and experience during this time. The Scriptures are quite clear on “not forsaking the gathering of believers” and we want to continue to exercise that God honoring practice by taking advantage of the advances in communication technology that is available to us. This may come in the form of perhaps doing a Zoom conference together while the sermon is being viewed online. How this looks is yet to be determined. More instructions will come as we iron this piece out.
Our elders and staff will be posting a daily word of encouragement to help us center our minds, hearts and thoughts on God as He takes us through these turbulent times. These will appear in your email inboxes as well as on the Lifesong app and facebook page.
We believe that moving along this plan of action will help us as a church to:
“love our neighbor” in a practical way by doing all we can to stop the spread of the infection.
cooperate with the state and federal officials’ instructions and the medical and health authorities’ directives to help “flatten the curve” and slow down the spreading of the virus.
If there’s any way we can serve you please let us know.
And through this all let’s continue to come together before our God and to gather together as God’s children bringing our prayers to our Heavenly Father. A great way opportunity to do just that is by joining us for prayer Wednesday night from 7-8pm. Just cut and paste this link into your web browser:
There’s 100 spots for people to join in on this time of prayer. Let’s fill each and every one of those spots come Wednesday night March 18 at 7pm. We will see you there!
Lastly stay tuned for updated announcements and plans via our Lifesong Church App, emails and/or our facebook page.
